Description

The principal components of the work include furnishing and installing 7,500 ft of 4-wire barb-wire fence, with 500 ft of clearing woody vegetation, 2 barb-wire gates and 4 grounding connections. The work is located at the Superior-Courtland Dam approximately 3 miles west of Guide Rock, Nebraska in Webster County. The Solicitation is tentatively schedule to be available on or around August 11, 2005. The receipt of quotes is tentatively scheduled for September 1, 2005 at the Bureau of Reclamation Great Plains Regional Office, 316 North 26th, Billings, Montana. There is no charge for the first copy of this solicitation, and additional sets will be provided upon receipt of a nonrefundable check or money order of $9.00 for additional set. All reasonable sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the Bureau of Reclamation. The North American Industrial Classification Code is 238990. The small business standard is $12 million. This is full and open competition. After issuance, the Solicitation, Offer, and Award Form (Standard Form 1442) may be viewed at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. To request a hard copy of the solicitation (including drawings) contractors must fax a request to (406) 247-7798, Attn: Hart Black Eagle. The request must be on Company Letterhead, and include the following information: contractor's name, address, phone/fax numbers, e-mail address, Tax Identification Number, and Dun and Bradstreet number. Vendors are required to register in CCR and complete their representations and certifications online prior to award of a contract. Information, Central Contractor Handbook and registration process can be obtained via the CCR website, http://www.ccr.gov or by calling 1-888-227-2423. The representations and certifications which were previously submitted within Section K are now located online. To complete your online representations and certifications (ORCA), contractors need to go to http://orca.bpn.gov.
