Description

If you have already expressed your interest for Solicitation W912GB-05-R-0029, you do not have to respond to this posting. We are creating one bidders list for all projects. This posting on FEDBIZOPS is updating the posting on 24 May 2005 for W912G B-05-R-0029, which was initially amended on 26 June 2005. Four additional CMU projects have been added, W912GB-05-R-0043, W912GB-05-0044, W912GB-05-R-0045, W912GB-05-R-0046. General projects descriptions remain unchanged. This contract will be a fir m fixed price contract for design and construction of Concrete Masonry Unit (CMU) Barracks buildings at the locations specified in Iraq. The bidder will be given standard designs (100%) for the 58, 116 and 232 man barracks buildings, and will be required t o site adapt them to the sites provided (design), and will also include construction of the facilities. The buildings are one and two story CMU construction, Slab on grade foundation, and will include Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Protection. Support facilities will include site utilities, connections, access roads, parking and antiterrorism/force protection measures. The period of performance is 12 months. As per FAR 52.232-18, all projects, including the additional ones, are subject to availabili ty of funds. Estimated dates for site visits for the remaining projects are to be determined at a later date.
