Description

Olympic National Park, located near Port Angeles, Washington, intends to issue a solicitation for the award of a service contract for pumping of septic tanks and vault toilets located in Olympic National Park. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, and supervision necessary to perform the service. Simplified acquisition procedures pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13.5 are being utilized for this acquisition since the services are considered commercial in nature. This is an unrestricted procurement. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price contract with a one year base performance period plus four, one-year option periods should the Government choose to exercise them. The North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) applicable to this acquisition is 562991 with a size standard of $6 million. The initial period of performance shall begin on October 30, 2005 through October 29, 2006. Contractors must register in the CCR (Central Contractor Registration) at www.ccr.gov to be eligible for award. You must register at the National Business Center website at http://ideasec.nbc.gov in order to download the solicitation. The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available on the internet only at the following websites: www.fedbizopps.gov and http://ideasec.nbc.gov. No hardcopy solicitations will be issued. The solicitation will be available at the above websites on or about August 11, 2005. Point of contact for this solicitation is Rodney J.
