Description

The U.S. Small Business Administration intends to issue a limited competition between the Lead Small Business Development Centers (SBDCs) for the designing, development of programs, services assisting individuals and firms in their adjustment to the dislocation and disruption resulting from reductions in defense spending. Each lead will be required to address one or more of the following areas: dislocations resulting from reduction in the number of military and civilian employees of the Department of Defense and defense contractors; disruption in markets resulting from shrinkage or elimination of markets for defense dependent firms and their subcontractors; and disruption resulting from base closures.
