Description

This procurement will be a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Set-Aside competitive procurement pursuant to FAR 19.501. The contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment, and supervision to perform the work in strict accordance with the drawings and specifications within the time allotted for the project entitled: SUMNER EMERGENCY POWER, NATIONAL GEOSPATIAL-INTELLIGENCE AGENCY (NGA)-Project Number 3802, Bethesda, MD. All work shall be in compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and Local statutes and regulations, including all records, reports, and permits as required. The contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment, and supervision to procure three 1750 watt diesel-powered generators, fuel storage tanks, and related equipment; contractor will fully construct a building to house the generators, tanks and related equipment. The project also entails the connection of the feeds to the existing 13.2 kv switchgear and related control work. Efforts will include site work, structural work, mechanical, plumbing and electrical work. The NAICS code is 236220. Small business size is $28.5M. The estimated cost for this acquisition is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The estimated performance time is three hundred sixty-five (365) calendar days after the notice to proceed is issued. The full solicitation and supporting documents will be made available via the NGA?s Business Opportunities home page http://www.nga.mil/portal/site/nga01/ within 15 days after the synopsis is issued, with a bid opening on 13 September 05. The work site visit will be 22 August 05; however, date and times are subject to change. The cut-off date for receipt of Offeror questions is 10 days after issuance of the solicitation.
