- CONTACT Thomas A. Egizi, Production Engineer, (732) 427-3296. This is a Market Survey to locate additional sources for the Air Cleaner Assembly, NSN 2940-01-519-5863, Part Number FTG-11-0103, CAGE 18265 and NSN 2940-01-520-3290, Part Number FVG-16-05 87, CAGE 18265. The Air Cleaners are manufactured by Donaldson Company. The Air Cleaners are used on the 100 kW and 200 kW (MEP-807A & MEP-809A) Tactical Quiet Generators (TQGs) manufactured by Engineered Electric Company DBA Fermont. DOD has also obtaine d these parts with the end item TQG generator sets from Fermont under Fermont part number 0116-1600 (NSN 2940-01-519-5863) and 0116-2600 (NSN 2940-01-520-3290), CAGE 93742. DOD is interested in awarding a one time contract to purchase quantities ranging fr om 6 to 10 of each Air Cleaner type. There are current sources for this item. Detailed technical data for the manufacture or acceptance of these units is not available from the Army. Suppliers capable of furnishing new Air Cleaners should indicate so by w riting to Commander, CECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-CCS-G-GN, Building 1200W, Ft. Monmouth, NJ 07703-5023. The response should include production lead time, production capacity by month, surge capacity, number of years part will be available, ranges for price brea ks if applicable, part number & manufacturer (CAGE) of proposed parts, or any other information that could affect the acquisition, supply and delivery of the parts. The response should also include documentation such as copy of purchase order if the suppl ier was a vendor to the listed source or a statement from listed source demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, supply the Army with a unit from the supplier listed above. The Government will also consider Air Cleaners from other manufacturers that have the same form, fit, and function as the required part. Alternate Air Cleaners would have to pass extensive performance and qualification testing to ensure the parts meet the Militarys requirements, the cost and time of which would be considered in t he acquisition decision. The successful supplier may be required to warrant that the item supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army.
