Description

This announcement constitutes Solicitation Number FA4801-05-R-0011, which will be issued as a Request For Proposal (RFP). Anticipated award to be a Firm Fixed Price Contract. The solicitation shall incorporate provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-04. This acquisition is to be set aside and awarded to a small business concern. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238320. The size standard is $12,000,000. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Contractor shall provide, but not limited to: Washing and Cleaning of equipment followed by surface preparation, masking, priming and sealing, cleaning the blasted material and painting of approximately 34 pieces of equipment for the purpose of corrosion control. Equipment items range from 880 lbs. light carts and air compressors to 25,373 lbs.-wet generators. All specifications are included in the Statement of Work (SOW). PROJECT DETAILS: The Solicitation, which will include the site visit date and SOW, will be posted on or about 22 August 2005 and MUST BE downloaded from FedBizOps at www.eps.gov; Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package.
