Description

The Aberdeen Area Indian Health Service (IHS) is soliciting proposals from interested firms to provide obstetrical and gynecological (OB/GYN) physician services for the Cheyenne River Indian Health Service Hospital and Clinic (hereafter referred to as the Service Unit) located in Eagle Butte, South Dakota. The contract OB/GYN physician will provide OB/GYN primary care services for patients at the Service Unit as outlined in the Statement of Work. This shall include but not be limited to outpatient care and procedures; culposcopy with biopsy, endometrial biopsy, cryosurgery, vulvar biopsy and inpatient consultation. It shall also include accessing OB/GYN services to assure its quality. The contract OB/GYN physician will typically work 5 to 7 hours each Wednesday. The IHS anticipates the award of a fixed price type, non-personal service, performance based contract for (1) one base year plus (3) three option years. RFP-05-10 will be published and available for distribution approximately 15 days form publication of this notice. Solicitation closing date is tentatively scheduled for September 15, 2005.
