Description
Question 1. Is the electrical/communication drawings fairly accurate? Response: Yes Question 2. Can the desktops surface be laminate? Response: Yes Question 3. How big is the trailer? Response: 3200 gross sq ft. Question 4. Will cubicle walls have to be provided? Response: The trailer will have the walls already established, with the exception of the shared office spaces, which will need a degree of separation for privacy. No additional walls need to be installed. Question 5. Will you need mailroom furniture? Response: We will need approximately 22 mail slots for sorting. Question 6. Will all the existing furniture be incorporated into the project? Response: Yes, but for the director's and admin office the furniture will be all new. Question 7. Which way will the furniture face? Response: The optimal choice would be to face the door. Question 8. Is the trailer fully cabled? Response: Yes, the trailer will be wired for telephone and communications. The trailer contractor will install (3) sets of 4 pair, 10 Base T, Category 5e cable from each outlet shown back to the main communications terminal/equipment backboard. SAIC will provide and install LAN/phone wall devices/plates and make final wiring connections. Question 9. What about the cubicle walls that will be added, will they need overhead space? Response: Yes Question 10. Who is the provider/manufacturer of the trailer? Response: Resun Corporation Question 11. What is the ceiling height? Response: The ceiling height is 7 foot 6 inches Question 12. Does the triangular symbol shown on the communications layout floor plan represent a combination phone/data outlet? Response: Yes, the triangular symbol represents a telephone/LAN outlet. The circular symbol represents electrical outlets. Question 13. What color are the existing metal files? Response: Sand and light gray Question 14. Do all the offices print across the LAN to the Copy Room or are there personal printers in the individual offices? Response: Staff will print across the LAN to the Copy Room. Office #15 (Executive Assistant) will have a personal printer and office FAX. Question 15. If personal printers will be in use, do we know in which offices they will be installed? Response: Personal printer in Office #15 (Executive Assistant) Question 16. Carpet and paint samples will be available at some point? Response: Yes, I will provide information as soon as it is available. Question 17. What is the largest monitor being used? Response: The largest monitors are Dell UltraSharp 2001FP Flat Panel Monitors, Depth 9-10 inches, maximum height of 25 inches with adjustable stand; Screen is 17.5 inches Wide by 14 inches High. Question 18. Do the air-conditioning units shown in the drawing on the outside wall of rooms 1-7 serve the entire trailer, including the interior spaces and rooms 14-22? In other words, is the drawing accurate in not showing any additional a/c units on th e other side of the structure? Response: Yes, the drawing is correct in its depiction of the A/C units. They are all located on one side of the trailer. Question 19. What is the finish on the NCI tables? How would you describe the style? Response: It is a solid oak, medium stain, oval shaped with four solid oak legs. Excellent Condition. Question 20. What color and style are the 7 Arm chairs? Response: The color is Wine 3500, chrome legs and arm support, black adjustable arm rests. Unicor -24/7 Chair (less than 6-months old). Note: The 8 Desk Chairs are Unicor, High Back Chair with Stationary Arms, Sapphire 3511. The 4 Desk chairs are Unicor, Chorale II, Tubular Arm chair, Sapphire 3511. (Less than two years old) Excellent Condition Question 21. Would it be possible to see any of the items on the Existing Furniture List? Response: Yes, we can arrange for a visit. Question 22. Has the customer con sidered the possibility that all of the exiting furniture may not be able to be re-used in the new location? Response: Yes Question 23. Regarding item H, proposal submission requirements number 3, please elaborate on requirements of the non furniture task, moving and cleaning. We understand from this mornings meeting that the only wiring required will be within the workstation s. Please confirm this. Response: We are requesting that the furniture vendor wipe and dust all installed furniture and remove all packing and crating materials. The only wiring required will be within the workstation. Question 24. Can the drawings be converted so that it could be used to place furniture? Will a CAD drawing be available in DWG or DXF format to use for our layouts? Will that work for Giza drawings as well as CAD? Response: The drawings are available as a DWG file. File will be posted to the USAMRAA web site Question 25. Will you put out the photos of the Inwood furniture? Response: No Question 26. In room 8 where the panels will go will it be possible to draw power from the ceiling if a cubicle isn't up against the wall? Response: No Question 27. With the desk chairs are there any special needs i.e. big and tall or someone who might be small and needs a chair will a less deep seat are someone with a bad back? Response: Ergonomic and adjustable chairs are the only requirements.
