Description
**THIS MODIFICATION IS BEING ISSUED TO ADD THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: Contractor First Article Testing required.** YPG05173000495, NSN 1680-01-043-6817, Handle Assembly (Without Cylinder), P/N 70-057-1. Specifications, plans, or drawings relating to the procurement described are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. DSCR does not currently have an approved Technical Data Package available for this NSN, please do not submit request to DSCR-VABA. FOB Destination/ Inspection at Origin. This is a proposed fixed price definite quantity contract. Quantity: 277 each, 101 DARO, 100% Quantity Option applies. Note 26 applies. Unrestricted. Other than Full and Open Competition. Intended sources: Bell Helicopter CAGE 97499, Adams Rite CAGE 80477, and Handy Tool & Mfg Co CAGE 91750. Any manufacturer other than the approved sources wishing to submit a proposal must submit a complete source approval package. Configuration Control applies. Critical Application Item. Sampling for inspection and testing shall be IAW ANSI/ASQC Z1.4-2003. Source Controlled Item. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The solicitation will be awarded as a definite quantity contract. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DLA Procurement Gateway at http://progate.daps.dla.mil on the issue date cited in the RFP. From the Gateway homepage, select ?Search RFPs? from the left-hand sidebar. Then choose the RFP you wish to download. RFPs are in the portable document format (PDF). To download and view these documents you will need the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader. This software is available free at http://www.adobe.com. A paper copy of this solicitation will not be available to requesters. The anticipated solicitation issue date is 18 July 2005. Once all the data has been compiled and verified, the actual solicitation will be put on the Procurement Gateway where both the issue date and closing dates will be adjusted accordingly. ***ELECTRONIC QUOTES ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE FOR THIS SOLICITATION*** The solicitation package must be completed in its entirety prior to submission. Incomplete submission of the solicitation package may be deemed unacceptable and may result in disqualification of proposal.
