********OPEN TO U.S. POSTAL SERVICE PREQUALIFIED CONTRACTORS ONLY********** DATE CORRECTION: SOLICITATION PACKAGE LISTED BELOW IS AVAILABLE AFTER JULY 25, 2005. U.S. Postal Service is requesting bids for the replacement of Overhead Dock Doors (240) at the NJ Int'l & Bulk Mail Center in Jersey City, New Jersey. Contractor to provide all material, labor, services, equipment, permits and licensing and other items necessary in order to complete this project. Work includes, but not limited to, multi-phased removal of existing doors and installation of new TKO manual dock doors, painting, sitework, electrical, etc. as further described in the Technical Specifications. Estimated cost: $1,800,000 - $2,100,000. Pre-Proposal Meeting will be held on site at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, August 5, 2005 (attendance is strongly suggested). Solicitation packages may be purchased after September 25, 2005 from Tech-Repro, 65 Zabriskie Street, Hackensack, NJ 07601, (201) 489-1333. It is prohibited to pay any fee, commission, percentage or brokerage fee to any person or firm contingent upon or resulting from the award of a contract for this project. PERSONAL VISITS AND PHONE CALLS for the purpose of discussing this projects are not permitted. Offers will not be publicly opened. The number of offers received, the identity of offers received, the amount of any offer or relative standing of the offers will not be disclosed to ANYONE until time of contract award.
