Description

Travis AFB intends to award a sole source renewal purchase order to Bayer Healthcare, Norwood , MA for the following: 1) Use of two (2) Advia 2120 Hematology Analyzers. Contract shall include all consumables, reagents, test kits, controls, and calibrators utilized during maintenance/service of the analyzers for the duration of the contract. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a), full and open competition need not be provided when there is Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supply or Service Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The period of performance is from 01 Oct 05 through 30 Sep 06. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. NAICS Code 334516 applies. This notice serves as information only. Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government?s obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer. Government does not incur any costs as a result of this posting. Contractors must be actively registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at http://www.ccr.gov.
