Description

Furnish all plant, labor, equipment and materials and perform all work for applying spray-on insulation to the interior of a 50 ft. x 100 ft. x 17 ft. galvanized steel Quonset style storage building located at Eisenhower Lock in Massena, New York. A firm, fixed priced purchase order shall be awarded on or about September 19, 2005 with the work to be completed by November 10, 2005. The cost range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) package will be released approximately August 10, 2005 with a response date of September 14, 2005. Requests for the RFQ package may be made by telephone to (315) 764-3206, fax to (315) 764-3268, or e-mail to Nancy.Seger@sls.dot.gov. The RFQ will also be available for downloading on the FedBizOpps website. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the Saint Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation. Prospective quoters must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to be considered for award. Please register with the CCR at www.ccr.gov. This project is issued in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and is open to both small and large businesses. NAICS code 238310; Size standard $12.0M. ATTENTION: Minority, Women-owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises. The Department of Transportation (DOT) offers working capital financing and bonding assistance for transportation related contracts. DOTs Bonding Assistance Program (BAP) offers bid, performance, and payment bonds on contracts up to $1,000,000. DOTs Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers lines of credit to finance accounts receivable.
