Description

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. Bechtel Nevada is seeking Engineering and Construction services for the following scope of work: a) Design Building 23-1010 expansion (structure, electrical, mechanical, and civil requirements including computer floor, HVAC, fire system, lighting system, dropped ceiling, electrical, grading, etc.) b.)Design/procure/install electronics in new Building 23-1010 expansion (including mosaic tile map board, video graphics display system with controller and interfaces for multiple inputs, control console with monitors, furniture, etc.) All necessary hardware, software, firmware to make a complete operable system including interfaces with Contractor Supervisory Control and Acquisition Data (SCADA) equipment. Provide technical assistance and criteria for facility expansion as well as installation and interfaces with Advanced Control System (ACS) and Contractor. c.) Construction for Building 23-1010. d.) The ACS 7000 Series SCADA system is not being replaced. Therefore, a SCADA system is not required in the scope of work. Any resultant subcontract will require the subcontractor to be signatory to Bechtel Nevada Project Labor Agreement for Construction. This agreement can be found at the following site: www.bechtelnevada.comppmgt/const. It is anticipated the formal Request for Proposal package will be issued in August 2005 to interested sources.
