- UPDATED REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL SYNOPSIS Availability of solicitations, FAR 5.102(d) applies, as our office no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. Offeror should register to receive notification of this solicitation or solicitation amendments. Copies of this solicitation can be found on the DLA Procurement Gateway at http://progate.daps.dla.mil/home AFTER Estimated Date. From the Gateway homepage, select "Search RFPs" from the left-hand sidebar. Then choose the RFP you wish to view. You must be registered in order to download RFPs. If you are not, you will be directed to register at time of download. In order to ensure e-mail notification of RFPs, prospective vendors MUST go to the RFP Information page and select DSCP Clothing & Textiles (C&T) as the commodity center from which notices will be sent. Important Note on Foreign Content The Defense appropriations and authorization acts and other statutes (including what is commonly referred to as ?The Berry Amendment? impose restrictions on the DoD?s acquisition of foreign products and services. Generally, Clothing and Textile items (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7012) and ?specialty metals? (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7014) must be grown, reprocessed, reused, melted or produced in the United States, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.7002-2 exceptions applies. Jumper, Man?s, 100% Poly, White, SH 3006 in accordance with specification MIL-J-87037D dated 8 June 1988, pattern dated 27 Dec 2001. This is a Best Value Source Selection Procurement. A technical proposal is required and will include the submission of a Product Demonstration Model, Past Performance Information and DLA Mentoring Agreement Plan. This will be an Indefinite Delivery Type Contract containing a one year base ordering period plus three additional one year term ordering options. The guaranteed minimum ordering quantity is 19,568 each and the maximum ordering quantity is 92,048 each. The Destination is for Ogden DD. The Production lead-time is 120 days with 6 deliveries for the first Delivery Order. This acquisition will be set aside exclusively for Total Small Business participation. All materials used in fabrication of the items are to be furnished by the contractor. See numbered notes (1),(9), and (26).
