Description

The USDI Bureau of Land Management, Colorado State Office, is soliciting for offers for the Pumphouse Toilet Swap 05 project. The project consists of furnishing labor, equipment, supplies and materials to remove and dispose of one wood and concrete composting toilet with concrete vault. The toilet vault contains an undetermined, but substantial amount of human waste in a near-solid form within the composting unit. The successful offeror shall be required to dispose of all waste according to applicable State, Local and Federal regulations. The project also includes demolition and removal of approximately 1200 sq. ft. of sidewalk and the addition of approximately 1300 tons of Class 6 road base to the existing roads within the Pumphouse Recreation site in Grand County, Colorado. The solicitation will be available for review on this web site on or about 8-5-05. The project is estimated at below $100,000.00. A prebid site tour is offered on August 26, 2005 at 9 am. Interested parties will meet at the BLM Pumphouse Recreation Site located off the Trough Road, between State Bridge and Kremmling, CO. Offers will be accepted via US Mail at USDI, BLM, 2815 H Road, Grand Junction, CO, attn Michele Derfler, or faxed to (970)244-3130 or transmitted electronically. Offers must be received no later than midnight on 9-2-05 to be considered. This is a total small business set aside.
