Description

The Army Field Support Command has a requirement for an IDIQ contract for the design, development, integration, testing and manufacture of various aviation sub-systems integration kits (A-kits). Contractors must meet the following criteria: 1. ISO 9001 certified; 2. Must have development, design, integration, testing, manufacture, modification and contracting capabilities within 25 miles of Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL; 3. Able to rapidly support critical Force Protection items in terms of propo sal turn around time and meeting Government delivery schedules. The contractor must have a proven capability to meet Government schedules, manufacturing and updating through design improvements of the following type of systems: 1. CH-47 AVR 2A Integration Kits; 2. CH-47 Common Missile Warning System/Improved Countermearsure Device (CMWS/ICMD) integration kits; 3. AH-64, UH-60, OH-58D, CH-47 Air Warrior Integration kits; 4. UH-60 and OH-58D Cockpit Airbags Integration kits; 5. CH-47/UH-60/AH-64 Blue Force T racking Systems Integration kits; 6. CH-47 Sealed Lead Acid Battery Integration kits; 7. CH-47 Brownout Situational Awareness Integration kits; 8. AH-64, UH-60 and CH-47 Electronic Data Manager Integration Kits; 9. UH-60 and CH-47 Aviation Wireless Interco m Kits; 10. CH-47 Full Authority Digital Engine Control (FADEC) Electrical and Mechanical Integration Kits; 11. Designing, manufacturing, installing and modifying UH-60 Helicopters to the Search And Rescue configuration. This sources sought is issue to o btain a bidder's mailing list for the pending RFP. Anticipated issue date is 15 OCT 05.
