Description

This is a Stewardship project. The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) intends to enter into a contract for the Camp Stew Stewardship project to perform services to achieve land management goals for public lands that meet local and rural community needs. The Camp Stew Stewardship Project is located in the Butte Falls Resource Area of the BLM Medford District, Oregon. The project will be a five year indefinite quantity, indefinite delivery contract, the purpose of which will be to perform a variety of services to: reduce ponderosa pine plantations density to release a fully stocked under story, perform limited commercial thinning removal of other conifer species such as Douglas fir, incense cedar, white fir and biomass, stabilize temporary roads constructed for removal of forest products, protect springs and develop as a wildlife/grazing water source, remove barbed wire grazing fence, decommission roads including removal of culverts, and stream channel restoration. This solicitation will be posted electronically. Paper copies are no longer available. Estimated issue date is August 5, 2005. A 20% Performance Bond and 100% Payment bond will be required for the construction portion of the work only. This solicitation is set aside for small business concerns. See Numbered Note(s): 1.
