Description

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has extended the solicitation for the Stewardship contract for fuels management services outside of North Columbia, Nevada County, California. The purpose of the STEWARDSHIP PROJECT is to provide services for fules reduction and promote forest health by reducing the fuels load. This will help reduce the risk of catastrophic fire, insect, and disease outbreaks. The proposed of this action is Pre-commercial Thinning (Hand Cutting and Chipping) 57 Acres, Pre-commercial Thinning (Mechanical Mastication) 32 Acres and Commercial Thinning (Mix Conifer Timber) 90.3 MBF. This includes furnishing all technical expertise, labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals necessary to complete the work required. Start date will be negotiated. This requirement is 100% set-aside for small businesses under NAICS 115310.
