Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared under the authority of FAR 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items and in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6. This action is a 100% small business set-aside. Th e NAICS code for this action is 488510. The combined synopsis/solicitation number is W91CRB-05-T-0103. The government intends to award a firm fixed price type contract for transportation services to transport radar equipment from Agra, India to Tobyhanna, Pennsylvania. Items need to be picked up from Agra, India no later than 8 August 2005. Interested vendors may request the list of material requiring transport from the Contract Specialist listed below. This is a Foreign Military Sales Requirement for t he Government of India under FMS Case IN-B-UMK. Contractor shall provide all customs paperwork and shipment of material. Material shall be picked up at Central Ordnance Depot, Agra Cantonment, India 208009. Material shall ship to Tobyhanna Army Depot, P A 18466-5094. Quoted price must be a Firm Fixed Price quote to ship equipment from India to Tobyhanna to include a price breakdown. Items must be picked up from India no later than 8 August 2005. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Co mmercial, applies to this acquisition. The provision at 52.212-2 Evaluation  Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the soli citation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Contracting Officer will make a best value award decision based on the following evaluation factors: Price, delivery schedule, socio-economic standing in descending order. Award will be made to the offeror that provides the best delivery schedule for the best price.
