Description
The VISN 9 Acquisition Center is SEEKING SOURCES for contractors with experience in performing wall-to-wall inventory for hospital Engineering departments. Experience with VA medical centers is preferred but not required. The contractor would be required to identify manufacturer's and distributor's stock numbers and pricing for all Engineering items currently missing this information, then conduct a wall to wall inventory count of all Engineering stock. The contractor would be required to identify and input information for any items not found in the VA inventory system. Work would be performed at the following six VA medical centers. The estimated number of line items in each facility's inventory is provided: Huntington, WV 5,603; Lexington, KY 16,223; Louisville, KY 7,522; Memphis,TN 8,689; Mountain Home, TN 3,053; Tennessee Valley (Nashville and Murfreesboro, TN) 8,471; Total VISN 9 49,561 line items It is estimated that 70% of these items do not have accurate prices. Contractors who have performed a minimum of three inventories of hospital Engineering departments are requested to FAX the following information to the Acquisition Service Center (FAX 615-867-5429, Attn: Pat McKay): 1. Provide an estimated price to perform the work as described above. A detailed proposal is not requested under this notice. 2. Provide the estimated performance time to inventory the six facilities listed. Describe the schedule you would use, i.e. one hospital at a time, two at a time, etc. 3. Provide the list of medical centers/hospitals where previous Engineering inventories were performed. Include address, point of contact at the hospital, phone number, fax number, number of line items inventoried, and cost of the contract. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY.
