Description

PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE ANNOUNCEMENT TO ASCERTAIN WEBSITE ADDRESS TO DOWNLOAD PROJECT DOCUCMENTS, AND PROJECT DETAILS BEFORE CALLING FOR INFORMATION. The intention of this solicitation is to secure complete inspection and full maintenance for the six elevators and one stair lift at various buildings at Lowell National Historical Park. The contractor shall furnish labor, transportation, materials, supplies and supervision for inspection, maintenance, scheduling and state fees for annual certificate inspections, and repair of six (6) elevators and one (1) stair lift. The work also encompasses lubrication, testing and reporting on the condition of these elevators. The Government anticipates award of a firm-fixed price contract with a period of performance 01 Oct 05 through 30 Sep 06 with four (4) one-year option periods for a total performance period of 60 months. This is a Full and Open Competition requirement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 238290, with a small business standard size of $12.0 million dollars. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by this agency. This will be a paperless acquisition. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued but the solicitation will be available on the National Business Center website (http://ideasec.nbc.gov) without further notice on or about Tuesday, August 2, 2005. No response to this notice is necessary and no source list will be maintained. The estimated bid due date is September 1, 2005. Prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor registration (CCR) database prior to award of a Government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the CCR database will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award.
