- The U.S Government National Small Arms Center (NSAC) solicits the members of the National Small Arms Technology Consortium (NSATC) and Welcomes applications for new members, for Lightweight Small Caliber Ammunition Program to reduce the overall weight of typical 7.62mm caliber ammunition by at least 20% without reducing current performance, reliability, or operating conditions. Request for Proposal (Solicitation) responses are expected to conform to the direction and guidance presented in this Request for Project Proposals (RPP). This RPP is open to the members of the NSATC and NSAC and applications for new members. If you are a member or would like to become a member please contact Ms. Barbara Burns, EME1BMT@aol.com, 703-212-8030 for a copy of the RPP. Members will immediately receive a copy of the RPP automatically. If you are a member and do not receive a copy of the RPP contact Ms. Barbara Burns. If you are interested in becoming a member you must fill out an application. Proposals are due by 1600 August 12, 2005.
