The solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov Website on or about Thursday, July 28, 2005. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This project consists of the custom fabrication and installation of thirty-two fixed and operable wood windows for the Historic Old Boston & Maine Railroad Depot located at Lowell National Historical Park, Lowell, Massachusetts. In addition to the newly fabricated windows, seventeen existing historic windows will be restored as part of the project. Additional work includes the custom fabrication and installation of seven exterior wood door and transom assemblies. This project also includes finish painting of all new and restored window and door elements and minor brick masonry repairs associated with door and window openings. Construction performance period is 120 calendar days. Estimated construction range: Between $250,000 and $500,000. NAICS code 238350, $12 million. This solicitation is subject to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and is subject to full and open competition. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.
