Description

Work consists of providing all labor, supplies, material, supervision, transportation, equipment, and all else necessary to design & repair of project LKTC 03-1030, Repair Base Wells, at Indian Springs AFAF, Nevada. Work shall include designing and installing a temporary bypass plumbing system at Well No. 2, pump house demolition to include hazardous waste abatement; installion of new production columns and casings if required; well cleaning and flushing; water lab tests; well recovery tests; sizing and installing new surface mounted pumps and motors for ease of maintenance; reconnection of Well No. 3 to the existing plumbing manifold in Well No. 2 pump house to restore the water supply system to its original configuration; and the construction of two new pre-engineered metal pump houses. When the project is complete, both potable water Wells No. 1 and No. 2 shall be restored to 100% production capacity and be protected from the weather by new pre-engineered metal pump houses. The estimated dollar value of this project is between $100,000 and $500,000 with a performance period of 180 calendar days. The applicable NAICS for this acquisition is 237110 with a three year average annual small business size standard of $28.5 million and half that amount for emerging small business firms. In accordance with Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program Act of 1998, Public Law 100-656 (15U.S.C. 644 note), the proposed contract listed here unrestricted and open to all firms. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be electronically issued o/a 15 July 2005 on the Governmenwide point of entry, FedBizOpps http://www.fedbizopps.gov/). PAPER COPIES WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. NOTE: Any prospective contractor must be registered in the Central Contract Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award.
