Description

Work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials, equipment and performing all work in strict accordance with those specifications, schedules and drawings forming parts thereof, for a project to repair Building 36, Section 2D. The project will be performed in three phases. Work includes the replacement and modification of the HVAC ductwork, ceiling, walls, flooring, and asbestos abatement. The electrical system will be modified to accommodate systems furniture. All work is to be accomplished in strict accordance with applicable NGA, (NIMA), EPA, NFPA, and OSHA requirements. The performance period for this project is 335 calendar days. Notice to Proceed is expected to be issued on or about 1 December 2005. There will be 45 days between phases, which are included in the performance time of 335 calendar days. During this time the contractor will not have access to the site. The contractor shall be required to work during normal working hours 0700 hours to 1530 hours. The approximate cost of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The NAICS code for this project is 236220, size standard $28.5M. The work is located at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), 3200 South Second Street, St. Louis, MO 63118. This project is 100 percent set-aside for small business.
