The solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov Website on or about Wednesday, July 27, 2005. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This project will improve the existing fresh air intakes and air distribution in the Mogan Cultural Center at Lowell National Historical Park, Lowell, Massachusetts. Work will include providing additional fresh air intakes, adding additional and in some areas larger ductwork and upgrading fan speeds. Additional ventilation in the restrooms, classroom spaces, and common areas will be provided to bring the areas up to code. New electric to feed the changed ventilation equipment will be run. Also included will be the cutting, patching, and painting of disturbed areas as the building is constructed largely with drywall ceilings and walls. Construction performance period is 150 calendar days. Estimated construction range: Between $100,000 and $250,000. NAICS code 238220, $12 million. This solicitation is set-aside for service-disabled veteran-owned small business concerns.
