Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The US Army Aviation and Missile Command, Research, Development, and Engineering Center (AMRDEC) plans to purchase a static cutting table as described below. This is a commerical item. Please provide a quote by email or fax to Elbert Clarke, 256-876-3149 ( voice), 256-876-8343 (fax), elbert.clarke@us.army.mil. Quotes are due by 2:00 PM CST the 29th of July 2005. STANDARD EQUIPMENT: 1. Three tool cutting head and pen lift assembly to include: 1  1 inch Rotary Blade Mount (12 spare blades each) 1  2 inch Rotary Blade Mount (12 spare blades each) 1 - 5mm Straight Blade Mounts (12 spare blades each) 2. Dual X-axis servo drive brushless motors with amplifiers and closed loop encoder 3. Onboard control panel with full interface terminal & joystick 4. 2 pause paddles; 2 remote emergency stops 5. Gantry festoon cables 6. Y & Theta servo drive brushless motors with amplifiers and closed loop encoders 7. Laser diode alignment tool 8. Diagnostic Control Cabinet 9. Conformal Coated Boards (Protection Carbon Fiber Environment) COMPUTER & SOFTWARE 1. Complete system integration on-site installation & training 2. 1 Year warranty or 2,000 operating hours (whichever comes first) on non-consumable parts. 3. 1 Year free plotter control software upgrades.
