- 17. Requirements Type Contract, Firm Fixed Priced, from date of award for base year with options to renew for four (4) additional years, utilizing Competitive Negotiation Procedures Utilizing Best Value for an RFP for the following 3 items in estimated quantities; 0001. 6117-01-145-7152, 10 Watt Solar Panel, estimated annual quantity 1,449 each. 0002. 6117-01-145-7153, 20 Watt Solar Panel, estimated annual quantity, 926 each. 0003. 6117-01-148-7879, 40 Watt Solar Panel, estimated anual quantity, 785 each. All to be manufactured with Coast Guard specification number 401 Rev. C. dated March 2005 and associated Coast Guard drawings which will be available on the internet at www.eps.gov when solicitation is issued. The Request for Proposal (RFP) and all associated documents will tentatively be issued on 8/1/05. Requests for copies of the solicitation are NOT available to be mailed. It is incumbent upon potential offerors to monitor the EPS system for the RFP and all subsequent amendments. Solicitation documents will only be made available via the Internet at www.eps.gov via FedBizzOpps.. First Article Testing is required. Delivery for submission of the First Articles (2 each for items 0001, 0002 and 0003) is 90/120 days ARO. Production delivery is required Delivery 150/180 after approval of First Article Samples. FOB: Destination, U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center, Baltimore, Maryland 21226-5000. Packaging/packing shall be in accordance with ASTM-D3951 ?Standard Practice for Commercial Packaging". Marking shall be in accordance with MIL-STD-129, Bar Coding is required and shall be in accordance with ANSI Aim BC1. All responsive and responsible firms may submit an offer which will be considered by this agency. *NOTE: SEE NOTE 12!!
