Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD), China Lake, CA intends to procure an Inert Atmosphere Oven on a competitive firm fixed price basis. Delivery of the oven is FOB destination to the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division China Lake, CA 90 days after award of the contract. Partial specifications for the oven are as follows: 1) Operating range from 80?F to 220?F. Minimum operating temperature achieved with 42iF water at 210 GPH. Maximum operating temperature is achieved by customer providing 90 psig of steam. 2) Work chamber 38" wide, 20" deep, 26" high: 11.0 cubic feet. 3) Overall external dimensions 53.5" wide, 33.5" deep, 62" high (approximate body only). These dimensions do not include the steam and water control valves or the NEMA 7 junction box that will be mounted out the side of the oven. Including these items will increase the overall size of the oven to approximately 65" wide by 36" deep by 70" high. 4) Electrical control cabi! net shall consist of a NEMA 12 enclosure and include the temperature controller, high limit controller and associated relays to properly operate the oven. Each oven will be provided with a control cabinet and the approximate size of each is 35" wide by 36" tall by 10" deep. This cabinet is designed to be wall mounted. 5). Power utilities: 208 Volts, 3 Phase, 60 Hertz 6) Recirculating motor: 1 HP; airflow capacity: 1000 CFM. Motor to be Explosion proof. 7) All oven electrical components shall be wired to a NEMA 7 junction box located on the right side of the oven. The solicitation will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online Website at http://www.neco.navy.mil and the FEBBIZOPPS website at http://vsearch2.eps.gov/servlet/searchservlet on or about 7/21/05. The solicitation will close on or about 8/20/05. Award will be issued under the authority of the test program for commercial items (FAR 13.5). All responsible sources must be registered in the Central Co! ntractor Registration (CCR) database at the following website: https://www.ccr.dlis.mil/ccr/scripts/index.html. All responsible sources may submit a quotation that will be considered by the agency. Responses must include all information requested in the written Request for Quotation (RFQ). Evaluation for the award will consider price and other factors including technical capability.
