- This is a requirement for Food Service (Mess) Attendant services for the 934th Airlift Wing Dining Hall, Minneapolis-St Paul Air Reserve Station, Minneapolis, MN. Services consist of furnishing sufficient qualified and trained management, supervision, personnel, transportation and cleaning supplies to provide mess attendant services for Unit Training Assemblies (UTA) approximately 2.5 days/month with approximately 1,200 meals served each UTA. Tasks include cleaning of facility, cleaning of all utensils, equipment and items associated with food production or food service, stocking and replenishing of dessert displays, salad bar and beverage lines, minor food preparation, the serving of food and cashier services for three meals on Saturday and two meals on Sunday of the UTA. The period of performance is on or about 1 October 2005 through 30 September 2006 with four (4) one year option periods. The Contracting Officer reserves the right to award to other than the lowest priced offeror in accordance with the criteria stated in the solicitation. The Contracting Officer intends to use FAR Part 13.5 acquisition procedures and FAR Part 12 provisions and clauses. This requirement is being issued as a Small Business Set-Aside to contractors qualified to perform under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 722310 (food service contractors) SIC code 5812. The small business size standard is $17.5 million. All interested parties must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database in order to be eligible to receive contract award. Applications for CCR registration may be obtained online at http://www.ccr.gov/. The government anticipates issuing Solicitation FA6633-05-T-0015 with its attachments and exhibits and posting it to the FedBizOpps website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ on or about 9 July 2005. No telephone requests will be considered. Subsequent amendments, if any, will only be issued via the referenced web site. Offerors are responsible for checking the referenced web pages periodically for any amendments.
