- This FEDERAL BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY announcement is a notice that TRICARE Southeast and Mid-Atlantic that include all DoD Medical Treatment Facilities (MTFs) in the states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, South Carolina, Tennessee, Southcom, North Carolina, and Virginia are in the process of standardizing Pneumatic Compression Sleeves and Devices as listed in the subject line above. Companies must obtain, or be in the process of obtaining, a Distribution and Pricing Agreements (DAPAs) with the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia for these items to be eligible to participate in the standardization process. Please respond by Email: vincent.pacchiana@se.amedd.army.mil and provide your company name, address, point of contact, telephone, fax and E-mail address and answers to the below listed questions no later than 21 days from the posting date. For questions, please call (706) 787-2094. 1. Does your company manufacture pneumatic compression devices and sleeves (Compression pumps, foot pumps, foot garments/sleeves, thigh garments/sleeves and calf garments/sleeves)? If so, what types of products does your company manufacture? 2. Are your products available through the Prime Vendor, Owens & Minor? What is your Owens Number? 3. What is your DAPA number? 4. Under what brand(s) does your company manufacture or distribute your product? 5. System must provide intermittent pneumatic compression to the lower extremities and mimic the legs muscle action as if the patient were ambulating. 6. Must have sizes available to accommodate all patient populations. 7. Do you have published studies that document your products efficacy? 8. Are your products latex free? 9. Are your products available in sterile and non-sterile? 10. Are your Pump cords are available in standard and extra long? 11. Are your Pumps designed with patient lock-out mechanism? 12. Are your Pumps are easy to clean and require low maintenance? 13. Are your Pumps are lightweight; easily and securely attach hospital bed, operating room table? 14. Do your Pumps have both visual and audible alarms? 15. Do your Pumps operate with either single or double leg functions? 16. Is the Connection hose at least 8 to 10 feet in length? 17. Does your company provide customer service 24/7 18. Is there any history of backorders and/or recalls for this product group? If yes, please answer: a. Dates and duration b. Cause c.
