Description

The work consist of providing all labor, equipment and materials necessary for the consolidation and rehabilitation of archeological collections and support documentation from several past U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Vicksburg District, projects th at have generated Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA) (Public Law 101-601), material. Collections from Spirit Lake (3LA83), Cedar Grove (3LA97), Fish Lake (3HE287), and Les Johnson (3AS159) sites, all in Arkansas, will be inclu ded in the effort. Vicksburg District collections from Sites 3LA83, 3LA97, 3HE287, and 3AS159 require consolidating, upgrading, then accessioning in an approved repository within the State of Arkansas before being permanently curated or repatriated. Spec ifications will be available on the Vicksburg Consolidated Contracting Office (VCCO) Web Page at http://www.mvk.usace.army.mil/contract/. Hardcopies will not be available. Offerors should check the VCCO Web Page often for new solicitations and/or changes (AMENDMENTS) to existing ones. Issue date on or about 18 Jul 05. Offer due date on or about 5 Aug 05, 1645 Hours. THIS PROCUREMENT IS 100 % SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE AND ISSUED UNDER NAICS CODE 712120 FOR A FIRM FIXED PRICE CONTRACT.
