- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New York District intends to issue an Invitation of Bids (IFB) for the award of a firm-fixed contract for the Defensive Live Fire Range (DLF) at Fort Drum, New York. This project consists of the construction work nec essary to construct a Defensive Live Fire Range. The range is for combat support and combat service support troops. The range includes 12 Firing Positions: ten 2-man positions with one MG position on both ends, 66 targets and 10 demo/pyro pits. Supporting structures and site improvements include an enclosed mess, a tower, a latrine, a multi-purpose/classroom building, ammo breakdown building, a maintenance building, bleacher enclosure, back up generator hook ups, communications, power, utilities, mechanical and lighting needs, road upgrade and site clearing. The estimated cost range for this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The selected contractor must complete the work no later than 365 calendar days after the date the contractor receives the Notice to Proceed. This project is being solicited as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. The applicable NAICS?Code is 236220 with a small business size standard of $28,500,000. The media selected for the issuance of so licitations and amendments shall solely be at the discretion of the Government; accordingly, the media utilized for this project are the Internet and CD-ROM. Paper copies of this solicitation, and amendments, if any, will not be available or issued.????
