Description

This requirement is for the Lease/Service of Portable Chemical Latrines (toilets) for the Mississippi Army National Guard (MSARNG) located at Camp Shelby Training Site, Camp Shelby, Mississippi. Proposed contract will be a Requirements Contract for a base year with two option years. The Government intents to award in accordance with FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offer whose offer conforming to th e solicitation that is most advantageous to the Government, Price and other factors considered. Factors used to evaluate offers are Technical Capability, Past Performance, and Price. The Government estimates a minimum of 30 units per month being used dur ing slow training periods up to a maximum of 550 units per month during peak periods of training. The estimated maximum is based on Mobilization requirements but if the Mobilization Center closes the estimated requirement could be decrease to 58 units per month. However, the Government does not guarantee a minimum or maximum number of units during the duration of the contract. The magnitude of the contract is between $100,000.00 and $500,000.00 for the duration of the contract. The Solicitation is set as ide for small business. This requirement is being procured under full and open competition; the appropriate NAICS code is 562991 (size standard is $6 million). A Pre-Bid/Site Visit has been scheduled for 15 July 2005 at DPW, Bldg 6600,Camp Shelby, Mississ ippi at 10:00 a.m. Request for proposal packages will be available on or about 18 July 2005 with proposals due on 18 August 2005. Prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Register (http://www.ccr.gov) in order to be awarded a contract under this solicitation.
