Description
The United States Army  Europe (USAREUR) Warrior Preparation Center, Directorate of Simulations (WPC-DOS) is seeking a non-personal services contract for work requirements at USAREURs eight (8) Battle Command Training Centers (BCTCs) in Germany, It aly and potentially other locations in the USAREUR area of responsibility (AOR), technical support to USAREUR exercises at the Warrior Preparation Center (WPC), and Subject Matter Experts/Exercise planning support to USAREUR G3. Additionally, on an as nee ded basis, services will include additional battle simulation exercises such as Partnership for Peace (PfP), Mission Rehearsals, NATO training, and sustainment training of deployed units at other remote locations in the European Command (EUCOM) Area of Ope rations using staffs from the existing BCTCs. The primary focus of work to be performed under this requirement will be the operation and use of computer based battle simulation systems in support of USAREUR training and exercise requirements of Active Comp onent (AC) and Reserve Component (RC) commanders and staffs at the platoon through senior command level. The services provided shall consist of technical, operational, administrative and logistical support of BCTCs. Specialized Technical support includes generation of digital terrain in support of USAREURs suite of models and simulations and the development and analysis of topographic and imagery products in support of training and operational missions. The Federal Supply Class for this requirement is R4 99, NAICS code is 541511. The small business size standard is $21,000,000. This acquisition is unrestricted. An indefinite quantity, firm-fixed price contract is contemplated. Selection will be made using the Source Selection Process, Best Value Contin uum - Trade Off Process. All responsible sources may submit a proposal that shall be considered by the agency. A single award will be made for a base year with four, one-year option periods. The approximate issue date of the solicitation is 25 July 2005 .
