Description

Aggregates for asphalt surface treatment. Must meet SDDOT Standard Specifications for Roads and Bridges, Division III, Section 881, Type 2B. Submit test results for gradation, PI, L.A.Abrasion, Soundness, and crushed particle prior to delivery. Material shall be delivered to various stockpile locations along US Hwy 385 within Wind Cave NP and the maintenance storage area (mixing circle) as directed by the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). All material must be delivered by August 5, 2005. Quantity is estimated. Actual quantity awarded will depend on unit cost and availability of funds. Measurement will be the actual number of tons, to the nearest tenth of a ton, verified by weight tickets. Deduction will be made for moisture content exceeding 5 percent by weight. Payment will be made at the contract unit price. Estimated price range for this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. This solicitation will be available only on the Department of the Interior (DOI) website at http://ideasec.nbc.gov O/A July 12, 2005 and will close on July 21, 2005 at 04:30 pm MST, unless extensions are issued in an amendment. Interested parties must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), www.ccr.gov, to download and/or submit a quote electronically on this solicitation.
