Description

The Contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, equipment, supplies, and materials to install two livestock water pipelines constructed of polyethylene pipe, buried to a depth of 24 inches. The two pipelines are approximately 60 road miles apart. One pipeline is approximately 5.9 miles long with 4 recycled rubber tire troughs and a 20,000 gallon storage tank. The second pipeline is approximately 6.5 miles long with 5 recycled rubber tire troughs and a 20,000 gallon storage tank.. The work is located in Socorro County, New Mexico. This requirement is open to both large and small businesses under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The estimated price range is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. The anticipated period of performance is 90 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Bonds will be required as follows: Bid Guarantee - 20% of the bid price, Payment and Performance bonds - 100% of the contract price. The solicitation will be available by electronic posting only and may be found at www.fedbizopps.gov. Bidders will be required to print the bidding documents for submission of their bids. The solicitation documents will be posted on or about July 21, 2005 . Contractors are required to register or update their registration at the Central Contractor Registration website at www.ccr.gov in order to receive a contract award under this solicitation, and register or update their registration at the Online Representation and Certification Application website at http://orca.bpn.gov.
