Description

THIS IS A 100% SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESS PROCUREMENT. The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials and equipment necessary to construct an approximately 48 by 90 metal building addition to existing metal Building 5036 located at 3909 Halls Ferry Road, Vicksburg, Mississippi. New building will have four offices, two laboratories and an open area with an overhead storage area on one side. The site work will consist mainly of demolition of existing manhole, construc tion of a new lift station, new fill, and new asphalt paving around new building. The offices and laboratories will have painted gypsum board walls and vinyl floor finish. Both laboratories will have base and wall cabinets. One of the laboratories will have a fume hood. The open area will have three double bowl sinks and two wall faucets. Existing HVAC equipment will be moved and the new building will have climate control. Electrical outlets will be provided in every room and cord reels in the open ar ea. The estimated value of the proposed work is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. Plans and Specifications will be available on the Vicksburg Consolidated Contracting Office Web Page at http://www.mvk.usace.army.mil/contract. Compact discs and hardco pies will not be available. Issue date on or about 21 July 2005. Bid opening date on or about 23 August 2005.
