Description

RIA SN: 611500X995156, Diesel Powered Generating systems for the Forward Repair System (FRS). Diesel powered generating system, 35 KW at 0.8 pf at 50 HZ prime rating, 120/208 VAC, 3 Phase, broad range, Dual output 50/60 HZ. Engine: 4 cylinder in-l ine, 4 cycle, approved by EPA for mobile usage in U.S. Fuel consumption not to exceed 3.0 U.S. gal/hr at full load. Generator set shall include a 1500-watt immersion type engine coolant heater, adequate fan guarding, automatic fuel shutoff, and 125 amp 3 -pole main line circuit breaker, and replaceable element air cleaner with restriction indicator and sand dump feature. A complete description will be issued with the solicitation. Quantity is 5 each, no options. Delivery to begin 5 weeks after award o f a contract. Delivery shall be FOB destination, Rock Island Arsenal. Approximate solicitation issue date is 7 Jul 2005, with the closing 14 days from issue. Once issued, copies of the solicitation will be available for download from the Army Single Fac e To Industry website at https://acquisition.army.mil. It will be the responsibility of the contractors to check this website for the issuing and any changes to the solicitation. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be distributed. The proposed cont ract is unrestricted. The North American Industry Classification Code is 335312, 1,000 employees.
