Description

The Defense Contracting Command-Washington, on behalf of the Department of the Army Special Technical Operations (DAMO-OGD) intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Army Special Technical Operations (STO) and Special Information Operations ( SIO) Training. The requirements include support in satisfying requirements to train Army planners in special units as well as planners in selected Army schools and selected senior-level Army staff involved in the planning, review, approval and execution of STO/SIO capabilities in support of military operations. Services to be procured include the development and administration of STO/SIO training for Arm y unit planning staffs; Army student planners, and senior Army staff; and the integration of STO/SIO into selected Army training exercises and scenarios. The work requires up to a TOP SECRET Clearance. These services are not being currently supported. T he proposed period of performance will be for a base period of twelve (12) months, with four (4) one-year option periods. It is anticipated that solicitation number W74V8H-05-R-0058 will be issued on or about 8 July 2005.
