Description

The Southern Arizona VA Health Care System (SAVAHCS), Tucson, AZ intends to negotiate sole source with Siemens Enterprise Networks, LLC, 1881 Campus Commons Drive, Reston, VA 20191 for maintenance and repair of telephone switch and associated system component equipment. The equipment consists of spectralink, peripherals, SDC Intellidesk, DC power, Dell computer components, annunciators, and weatherproof phones. The equipment is an integral part of the SAVAHCS overall telephone system. Service to this equipment is considered incidental to the overall SAVAHCS telephone switch equipment which shall be maintained by Siemens Enterprise Networks under their current GSA schedule contract by issuance of a task order for the period of 8/1/05 - 7/31/06. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals, which may be faxed to (520) 629-1817 or e-mailed to the contracting officer, no later than close of business on 7/20/05. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
