Description

The U.S. Geological Survey has a requirement to increase the maximum order amount specified under an existing Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity. Intent is to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with Specialized Mechanical Services, Inc. under the current contract (05CRCN0004) to increase the maximum amount by $50,000 for the current contract year and two option years. Work includes a variety of work for plumbing and electrical maintenance work at the Columbia Environmental Research Center (CERC), located at Columbia, Missouri. Based on this information, and in accordance with 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1), implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), the Government considers this increase a sole source to Specialized Mechanical Services, Inc. and proposes to negotiate with that firm on that basis. This notice represents the Government's only official notice of this procurement.
