Description

The National Park Service, Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks, has identified a requirement for a solicitation to construct and install a 149,000 gallon water tank at Cedar Grove, in Kings Canyon National Park This solicitation is set-aside for 100% Small Business concerns only. This project consist of demolition of the existing 165,000 gallon water tank, construction of a new 149,00 gallon glass lined bolted steel tank, installation of a new tank level communication and water plant control system, installation of a new radio communication system, demolition of the existing chemical building, and installation of a new chemical feed building with feed system and controls. The National Park Service encourages and welcomes the participation of small business firms, minority-owned business firms, and women-owned business concerns. The solicitation, N8564050513, will be issued electronically on the Department of Interior's (DOI) National Business Center (NBC) website, http://ideasec.nbc.gov, approximately 3 days after this announcement due to compelling and unusual urgency. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be made available. Subscribers to this service are ultimately responsible for reviewing the above web site for all information relevant to this solicitation. Prospective offerors desiring to conduct business with DOI are requested to register at the Central Contractors Register (CCR) on the internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Submission date for offers will be approximately 30 days after issuance of the solicitation. The Government anticipates an award of a firm fixed price contract with a magnitude between $250,000 and $500,000. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 238120 with a size standard for Small Business of $12 Million.
