Description

Services of a contractor to furnish all tools, labor, materials and expertise to complete Project 596-05-101, "Replace Boiler Safeties/Deaerator, CDD," at VA Medical Center, Cooper Drive Division, Lexington, KY, in accordance with drawings and specifications. Work includes general construction, masonry work, demolition, mechanical and electrical work, etc. Estimated construction cost range is between $250,000 and $500,000. Work is to be completed within 135 calendar days. This procurement is 100% set aside for competition among companies that are certified HubZone by the Small Business Administration, and is subject to availability of funds. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) No. 238220 with a size standard of $12 million applies to this procurement. Solicitation documents (specifications and drawings) will be available for download on the Website http://www.bos.oamm.va.gov/ after July 22, 2005. Amendments issued to the solicitation will also be posted to the website; bidders are advised it is their responsibility to obtain and acknowledge all amendments. It is essential that interested parties register on the bidders mailing list for the solicitation to receive notification of amendments. Requests for hard copy solicitation documents must be in writing to the Contracting Officer, and may be faxed to (859)281-3971. No telephone requests will not be accepted
