- FISC Norfolk, Contracting Department, Philadelphia Division intends to acquire on an unrestricted, competitive basis Nurse Triage Telephone Based Clinical Assessment and Support Services for the Naval Medical Center (NMC) San Diego, CA. The required Nurse Triage Services shall be provided 24 hours a day, 365 days a year in support of 114,071 TRICAE Prime beneficiaries enrolled at the Naval Medical Center and clinics located at Naval Base, San Diego; Marine Corps Air Station Miramar; Naval Training Center; Naval Air Station North Island; Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego; Naval Amphibious Base Coronado; Naval Air Facility El Centrol; TRICARE Outpatient Clinic Caliremont; and TRICARE Outpatient Clinic Chula Vista. The required nurse triage services shall include: clinical assessment of TRICARE Prime enrollees; healthcare advice and self-care instructions until caller can obtain care; call follow-up; data collection; customer surveys; reporting and appointing. All patient interactions shall be supported and documented through the utilization of NMC San Diego?s current triage program, McKesson CareEnhance Call Center, version 3.5 or higher. Award of a Firm Fixed Price contract is anticipated with a base period commencing on or about 01 October 2005 and ending on 30 September 2006. The resultant contract will likewise provide for four (4), one-year option provisions to extend the term of the contract through 30 September 2010, if exercised. This procurement is being conducted as a commercial item acquisition in accordance with FAR Part 12, using Subpart 13.5 test program procedures. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) will require price and technical submissions. The RFQ will be made available electronically upon its release at www.neco.navy.mil. Paper copies, faxed copies or e-mail copies of the RFP will not be provided. Interested parties are solely responsible for monitoring the above mentioned web site for posting of the RFP and any amendments issued thereto. The Government will not pay for information received. The applicable NAICS code is 621399; size standard $6 Million.
