Description

The VA Medical Center, Syracuse, NY is seeking qualified firms with the capacity and capability to provide wheelchair/invalid coach transportation services for the beneficiaries of VA Medical Center Syracuse, NY. Work includes the performance of services as described in the specifications. North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 485991, Special Needs Transportation. Small business size standard is $6.0 million. This is a Total Small Business set aside. The period of performance is for a base period of one year with two, one-year options. The total performance period will not exceed three years. Service to commence on or about September 1, 2005. Procurement made using FAR 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and source selection methods for awards. Attendance at a pre-proposal site visit tentatively scheduled for July 8, 2005 at 1:00pm is considered essential.
