Description
The Government intends to execute an unrestricted procurement for delivery of 33,475 pounds of commercial Inhibited Red Fuming Nitric Acid (IRFNA) in accordance with MIL-PRF-7254G, dated 15 Dec 1997, Type IIIB, NSN: 9135-00-754-6413. This requirement is in support of the Naval Air Warfare Center at China Lake, CA and the Army?s Missile Systems Gelled Propellant Research and Development Programs at Redstone Arsenal, AL. Contractor shall provide all production, supplies, management, tools, equipment, labor, and any raw materials necessary for the manufacture of IRFNA, except Dinitrogen Tetroxide (N204), which will be provided in the form of Government Furnished Material (GFM). The requirement includes services for inspecting, cleaning, and maintaining inventory of 55-gallon Government-owned drums, which shall be provided in the form of Government Furnished Property (GFP). Delivery shall be FOB Origin into the Government-owned 55-gallon drums, which shall be stored in a Contractor-provided, secure, on-site location. The performance period shall be from 1 Aug 05 through 30 Sept 09, with the first delivery due 26 Sept 05. The resultant award shall be a four year, two month firm fixed price requirements type contract. Subject solicitation will be issued on or about 30 Jun 05 and posted to the FedBizOpps web page at (http://www.fedbizopps.gov/).
