Description

Provide all labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision required to construct a new garage building at U. S. Coast Guard Station Calumet Harbor, Chicago, IL. Major work items include: Site preparation which includes removal of trees, existing asphalt and all excavation and fill necessary to construct a new pre-engineered building and new asphalt pavement and concrete pads; Utility preparation which includes underground conduit and piping; Construct a 50 foot X 80 foot pre-engineered metal building with all associated foundation, mechanical, electrical, and utility work required (Building shall include an office, toilet, and maintenance shop bays for the storage and repair of boats. Includes three 12 flot wide X 16 foot high coiling overhead doors, two 3 foot X 7 foot personnel doors and four windows. Floor drain will be provided at each maintenance bay and tied into a new 300 gallon oil/water separator); and, Install conduit and boxes required to install Category 5 cabling wiring. Unit items for construction of an additional 20 foot wide bay with associated foundation, electrical, mechanical and utility work; and, Installation of Category cabling and perform terminations and testing as required for a complete system ready for data, telephone, intercom, and other systems to be installed by the USCG at completion of contract. This procurement is estimated between $500K and $1M. This procurement is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The applicable NAICS is 236220/$28.5M. Completion time is 250 DANTP.
