- NAICS Code: 561990. The U.S. Geological Survey, National Mapping Discipline, National Center for EROS, Sioux Falls, South Dakota, has a requirement for Convention and Meeting/Planning Services in support of advisory panel meetings and earth science conferences and meetings. These services will plan for, host, and otherwise support a variety of technical conventions, meetings, working groups, and training/workshops. In addition, the contract services will facilitate the coordination and hosting of visits and scientific exchanges by foreign and domestic visiting scientists. The period of performance will be for one base year and four option years. The Request for Proposals (RFP) will be issued on or about 07/15/05 with responses due on or about 08/16/05 by 3:00 PM. Interested parties may obtain a copy of the RFP electronically at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. All interested offerors responding to this Request for Proposals should download the solicitation from the website given and provide a written response by the due date indicated on the solicitation. Only written responses received by the due date will be accepted. Telephone and/or fax requests will not be accepted. These services will be acquired using full and open competition. Numbered Note 26 applies.
